Precautions for Installing a Milling Machine
1. During machine transportation, secure the equipment firmly. Use steel cables to tighten the four corners of the machine base, and reinforce them with wooden beams no less than 50mm x 50mm nailed in place. All other moving parts must also be secured to prevent collisions or overturning during transit.
2. When positioning the machine, place it on level ground with a stable foundation and minimal vibration. Avoid areas near grinding wheels or other sources of significant vibration and dust. Keep it as far as possible from generators, transformers, and other sources of electromagnetic interference.
3. This unit operates on a three-phase 380V AC power supply and requires a neutral wire for control purposes. Please confirm these specifications clearly before placing your order.
4. When connecting wires, ensure they are securely fastened and install an external air circuit breaker on the machine.
5. Connect the P-type hose to the machine’s P-type tank fitting, and connect the T-type hose to the tank’s T-type fitting. The milling machine operates as a fully hydraulic sealed system. Please clean the filter screen regularly and replace the hydraulic oil (32#).
6. Do not adjust or modify any red-painted areas on the machine unless you are a professionally trained technician, as doing so may affect normal machine operation.
7. The factory-set system pressure for the entire machine is 32–35 kg/cm². Do not alter this setting unless absolutely necessary. The verification method is as follows: Set the fixture pressure to its maximum value, which corresponds to the system pressure.
8. The automatic program of the milling machine is controlled by a PLC. For safety and other considerations, numerous protective circuits are installed. Non-professionals should not alter settings arbitrarily to prevent accidents.
9. Do not use volatile oils as cutting fluids, as heat generated during machining may cause fires. Do not use water-based cutting fluids, as they may affect machine precision. If water-based cutting fluids are necessary, make a special request before ordering the machine. After delivery, ensure the machine operates for 1-2 hours daily.
10. Periodically lubricate the cutter hub seat with grease. Do not use regular grease; instead, apply high-temperature grease rated for 200–300°C (392–572°F). Clean the surrounding area during application to prevent foreign particles from entering and damaging the bearings.
11. All power connectors and cables must not be routed through pedestrian walkways or high-traffic areas, and must be protected by cable trays or similar protective covers.
